Intermediate Business Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Partner with the Product Owner and Product Manager to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Translate business needs into user stories, ticket descriptions, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Gather, analyze, and clarify requirements while resolving gaps, ambiguities, and conflicting priorities.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, collaborating with the Technical Manager, Architect, and developers.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Support estimation, documentation, process improvement, and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile development environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, backlog management, prioritization, and estimation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management, user stories, and workflow tracking.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, clarify incomplete requirements, and write accurate documentation.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level required.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, card processing, or ACH.
• Technical background in software development or quality assurance.
• Scrum Master or Agile facilitation experience.
