Social Media Associate (Privacy & Security)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA; the salary range also applies to New York, NY, with geo-adjusted compensation based on location.

Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience and interview performance, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own social copywriting, editing, publishing, and the development of hirify.global’s brand voice across channels.
• Grow social following and engagement through distinctive content and creative ideas.
• Copy edit and upload blog posts, write and edit email marketing copy, and help build email flows and sequences.
• Identify opportunities for hirify.global to contribute to public privacy conversations and translate technical or product features into compelling social and video narratives.
• Reply to inbound email inquiries and represent hirify.global’s products accurately.
• Build calendars, trackers, briefs, and other systems that help the function scale.

Requirements

• Excellent, distinctive writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills, including experience maintaining spreadsheet trackers and content calendars.
• High attention to detail and consistent proofreading quality.
• Creative instincts and the ability to pitch ideas, not only execute an existing calendar.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Arlington, VA setup.

Nice to have

• Video filming and editing experience.
• A portfolio of past work.
• Interest in or familiarity with privacy, security, or technology policy conversations.
