Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, Orthopedics (MedTech)

Location: Raynham, Massachusetts, United States; consideration may also be given to West Chester, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey office locations. Travel up to approximately 20%, including domestic and occasional international travel.

Base pay: $178,000–$307,050 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and lead the global corporate communications strategy supporting business objectives, brand positioning, and organizational transformation.
• Advise executive leadership on messaging, stakeholder engagement, reputation, and communications risk.
• Oversee internal communications that strengthen employee engagement, change adoption, and alignment with company priorities.
• Lead external communications, including corporate announcements, media relations, executive communications, and thought leadership.
• Manage crisis and issues communications and coordinate timely, accurate responses.
• Build and develop a high-performing communications team and manage agency partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading enterprise-level communications strategies in complex, regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success advising senior and executive leadership and managing internal and external communications.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with corporate transformations, mergers, separations, or large-scale change initiatives.
• Global communications and cross-cultural collaboration experience.
• Stakeholder management, crisis communications, digital communications platforms, and employee communications experience.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
