Environmental Analyst V (Construction Stormwater)

Salary: $97,600–$138,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead the construction stormwater program and oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across PSCo business units.
• Manage engineering consultants responsible for SWMP development, permit applications, pre-construction planning, and regulatory support.
• Manage stormwater compliance inspectors, the electronic compliance data system, BMP and restoration contractors, and agency relationships.
• Plan and direct complex environmental projects, site assessments, investigations, audits, remediation, and regulatory studies.
• Negotiate permits and licenses, coordinate inspection responses, review regulatory changes, and represent company positions before agencies and environmental hearings.
• Develop compliance training, manage proposals and contracts, and evaluate incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, applied science, or a related field.
• Eight years of progressively responsible environmental work experience, including environmental regulations, remedial procedures, audit procedures, and power generation processes.
• Demonstrated technical writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
• An associate degree plus three years of related progressive experience may substitute for the education requirement; advanced degrees may substitute for additional experience.
• Ability to work in Denver, Colorado, and perform environmental, construction, inspection, and regulatory coordination duties.
