Supply Chain Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Newport Beach, California, United States; onsite work is required at supplier sites at least 3 days per week. Candidates must live in the surrounding area or be willing to relocate to Newport Beach and travel by car and airplane.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, including a variable performance-based component.

What you will do

• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of standard parts from suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers.
• Assess supplier manufacturing maturity, capacity, capability, and readiness for production ramp-ups and major planning changes.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, assessments, recovery plans, and industrial risk management.
• Lead preventive and corrective action plans and drive continuous improvement in supplier delivery performance.
• Identify and mitigate industrial risks, including transfers, design changes, and production planning changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, programs, manufacturing stakeholders, and final assembly lines to protect hirify.global operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, supply chain, supplier monitoring, auditing, or supplier development.
• Knowledge of quality regulations, quality core tools, APQP, practical problem solving, QMS, auditing, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification and CPIM certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and airplane.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
