Quality Improvement Specialist II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote; must live in Arizona or Nevada

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage HEDIS projects, including nurse assignments, timelines, and vendor oversight for quality and timeliness.
• Collect, enter, analyze, and report quality-improvement data, including access studies, HEDIS abstraction forms, medical record reviews, and satisfaction studies.
• Prepare data reports and written materials for committee discussions, provider newsletters, and educational initiatives.
• Conduct interdepartmental inter-rater reliability audits and manage data review processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Implement process improvements and support the Director of Quality Improvement with regulatory and review-organization audits.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of data management experience in a health insurance organization, with responsibility for report generation or project management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must reside in Arizona or Nevada.

Nice to have

• Experience with managed care organizations.
• Experience in quality management or quality improvement.
• Experience with HEDIS projects, study analysis, or NCQA standards.
