Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site. The role involves working in person and visiting customers in the field.

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end workflows across the technology stack.
• Develop AI products for industries that have not yet been broadly modernized by software.
• Take features into production and solve real-world problems at significant scale.
• Establish patterns for code quality, technical decision-making, and engineering culture.
• Build tools, platforms, and mental models that support rapid company growth.
• Talk to and visit customers in the field to understand their needs and improve solutions.

Requirements

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages.
• Strong engineering ability, ideally developed in startup environments.
• Familiarity with storage and data-processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and related technical tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporate feedback, and maintain a high quality bar.
• Availability to work approximately 60 hours per week in person in New York City.
