Principal Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Define the architecture and technical strategy for web and multi-platform products.
• Lead development of real-time collaboration, messaging, and live multi-user interactions.
• Drive product features from ideation and scoping through development, launch, and iteration.
• Integrate generative AI workflows, including LLMs, models, and agentic tools, into creative products.
• Partner with product and design leadership to build accessible creative workflows.
• Improve architecture quality, mentorship, technical proposals, metrics, tracing, and observability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial senior or principal-level and product-focused work.
• Proven experience designing, executing, and scaling high-impact web or mobile products using technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node, or Go.
• Expertise in distributed systems, scalable APIs, cloud infrastructure, and cross-stack development.
• Experience with ML/AI infrastructure, Python, and GPU-backed workflows.
• Strong product intuition, strategic thinking, communication, leadership, and cross-functional influence.
• Commitment to ownership and delivering user-centric creative experiences at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, agentic workflows, or ML inference platforms using Python and PyTorch.
• Creative experience in design, art, architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with media-rich and real-time collaboration applications.
• Startup experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
