Senior FP&A Analyst (Finance)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; in-office role

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year, plus incentive-eligible compensation

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, IT, and Marketing on resource allocation, expense management, and headcount planning.
• Lead long-term financial modeling, trend analysis, revenue forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Deliver monthly business reviews, variance analyses, management reporting, and forward-looking insights.
• Prepare executive dashboards, presentations, and financial narratives that support strategic decisions.
• Modernize FP&A processes through automation, AI-enabled tools, improved data workflows, and Power BI or Tableau dashboards.
• Support financial feasibility analysis and diligence for internal strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Must work in the Richmond, Virginia office.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in investment banking, private equity, professional services, or another fast-paced environment.
• Expert-level Excel skills with experience building complex financial and scenario models.
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools and strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or Master’s degree.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with modern ERP systems and interest in AI and finance automation.
