Community Relations Coordinator (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States, with applicants required to live within a 30-minute drive of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role requires up to 80% local travel and field work, including travel throughout Oklahoma.

Salary: $23.23–$39.61 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement community outreach plans and promotional activities for the Health Plan.
• Build relationships with community contacts and organizations to create new outreach opportunities.
• Coordinate materials, staff, resources, and logistics for community and health events.
• Attend events and distribute Health Plan information to members and community participants.
• Support health education presentations, school-sponsored programs, and other community activities.
• Contribute to marketing strategies and member growth goals while following healthcare marketing regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of community outreach experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field with at least 2 years of outreach experience.
• Experience working with government-sponsored populations, especially Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP.
• Experience with public speaking and community event coordination.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
• Must be within a 30-minute drive of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and able to travel throughout the state; lifting up to 40 pounds is required.
