Associate, Technology Risk

What you will do

• Support operational risk management across technology and related business groups.
• Coordinate risk control self-assessments with Operational Risk Management.
• Map, monitor, and validate key controls, analyze testing results, and track remediation of deficiencies.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and the timely delivery of audit artifacts.
• Maintain governance documentation and assess technology risks associated with business decisions.
• Manage three to seven audits while communicating with leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technology operational risk, compliance, audit, information security, or IT governance, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, Microsoft software and servers, cybersecurity activities, and identity access management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and work with moderate supervision.
• Occasional travel on company business is required.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience participating in or performing risk assessments.
• Professional certification in operational risk management, audit, cybersecurity, or database administration.
• Familiarity with technology governance, risk management, access controls, or cybersecurity concepts.
