Summer Associate Internship (Identity & Access Management)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida, United States

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour

What you will do

• Review and validate identity and access management data, reports, account information, and authorization records.
• Support user access reviews, access certification activities, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access management.
• Document IAM processes, workflows, procedures, standards, controls, and operational records.
• Compile data, create reports and dashboards, track KPIs, and conduct trend analysis for IAM operations.
• Support audit preparation by gathering evidence and organizing compliance materials.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on IAM requirements, governance initiatives, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of information security concepts and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Coursework or exposure to IAM, cybersecurity, risk management, or information security.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, or business process documentation.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
• Interest in IT governance, compliance, audit, or security operations.
