Engineer I - Test (Engineering Development Program 2027)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global campus, Pella, Iowa, USA (Shop 48)

What you will do

• Support and execute product validation testing covering durability, reliability, performance, and compliance.
• Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Collect, organize, and perform basic analysis of test data to support engineering conclusions.
• Assist with root cause investigations through data gathering, repeat testing, and documentation.
• Document test setups, procedures, and results for traceability and reporting.
• Collaborate with test leads and cross-functional teams while following safety, quality, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience; internships and co-ops are accepted.
• Exposure to data acquisition systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Basic understanding of stress, strain, hydraulics, vibration, electrical systems, and EMC.
• Ability to read basic electrical and hydraulic schematics, with hands-on mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop tools.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team.
