Electro-mechanical Engineer

Location: On-site at least four days per week at hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel.

Salary: $124,127–$151,710 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Support product lifecycle management, change management, and product support for electromechanical Powered and Supplied Air Respiratory Systems.
• Contribute to product design, technology development, and continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Execute product verification, validation, qualification, and manufacturing readiness activities with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement product and process improvements that enhance customer experience, manufacturability, and operational efficiency.
• Investigate technical issues and develop engineering solutions for R&D, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least three years of experience in research and development, product development, design engineering, testing, or related engineering functions.
• Experience with electromechanical products, components, subsystems, automation equipment, or regulated products is relevant to the role.
• Experience with product testing, design verification, validation, engineering change management, manufacturing support, or product lifecycle activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or Ph.D. in an engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with respiratory protection, personal safety products, medical devices, or other regulated products.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, risk assessment, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, or structured problem-solving methods.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
