Field Service Technician (Gaming)

Location: Champaign, Illinois, United States. Field-based work in bars, restaurants, gas stations, truck stops, and other local establishments. Technicians work 40 hours per week, with hiring for nights and weekends.

Salary: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and proficiency.

What you will do

• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot repairs for gaming devices, ATMs, amusement equipment, and redemption devices.
• Maintain and repair electronic and mechanical equipment in customer locations.
• Communicate with clerks, restaurant staff, managers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Manage parts inventory and load or unload supplies.
• Complete device-entry documentation, service logs, and auditing procedures for gaming and amusement equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Relevant ATM, amusement, gaming, HVAC, low-voltage, cable, telecommunications, internet, automotive, or other electronic/mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
• Terminal Handler’s License; licensing costs are covered by the company.
