Electrical Project Manager (E&I)

Location: Milwaukee, WI; nationwide project assignments throughout North America with approximately 50% travel required.

What you will do

• Lead heavy industrial electrical and instrumentation construction projects from award and startup through commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate customers, engineering teams, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
• Oversee projects involving power distribution, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, instrumentation, PLC and SCADA integration, automation, and process controls.
• Identify risks, constructability issues, schedule impacts, and operational challenges while developing solutions.
• Lead customer meetings, commissioning, startup, owner training, quality activities, safety compliance, and project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, electrical engineering, project management, business, or a related discipline, plus 5+ years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing industrial electrical and instrumentation construction projects, including medium- and low-voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and controls.
• Experience with compressor stations, pipeline facilities, midstream infrastructure, power generation, industrial process plants, manufacturing, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, procurement, subcontract management, risk management, contract administration, commissioning, and startup.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel approximately 50% throughout North America.
