Service Operations Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and up to one day working from home.

Salary: $26.15–$35.96 per hour, with potential variable compensation depending on the role.

What you will do

• Provide guidance and support across the service experience as a versatile operations specialist.
• Engage in projects, manage key controls, coach colleagues, and support problem resolution.
• Monitor team performance and risk indicators and perform operational analysis.
• Develop recommendations and contribute to their implementation.
• Partner with multiple business areas to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education and work experience may be combined.
• 1–3 years of experience in service or operations.
• Experience on a customer service team and strong knowledge of customer service processes, policies, techniques, and applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of business operations and processes across more than two areas.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid United States work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Product-specific or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Ameriprise customer policies and procedures.
