Recruiting Consultant - Kentucky (Insurance)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA; travel requirements up to 40%

What you will do

• Develop and manage candidate pipelines for Colonial Life’s sales management and 1099 contract roles.
• Source candidates through referrals, job boards, networking, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone screens, initial interviews, and support hiring managers with selection decisions.
• Build recruiting strategies with Territory Sales Managers and support District General Agency and Agency Development Manager hiring.
• Deliver recruiting, sourcing, and contracting training to sales managers and 1099 partners.
• Support licensing, broker contracts, field recruiting activities, and career attraction events.

Requirements

• Experience in recruiting and/or sales.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of websites, tracking spreadsheets, Applicant Tracking Systems, and online contracting software.
• Self-directed approach with strong time management, motivation, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Experience training or coaching hiring managers or 1099 partners in classroom and field settings.
• Ability to travel up to 40% and maintain professionalism in office and field environments.

• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience sourcing 1099 contractors.
• Ability to attract leadership candidates from inside and outside the insurance industry.
