Staff Scientist - Electrochemist (Biotech)

Base salary: $118,200–$177,200 per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, and equity programs.

What you will do

• Lead and execute large-scale research, technical development, and product development projects or project subfunctions.
• Create requirements, plan activities, and own technical deliverables.
• Lead smaller core teams, contribute to technical road mapping, and represent the function in research and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and own creative solutions for technologies, processes, and products.
• Submit invention disclosures and innovative ideas.
• Mentor scientists and engineers in relevant technical skills.

Requirements

• Expertise in the discipline with deep experience across multiple product cycles.
• Advanced mastery of relevant technical areas and broad knowledge across the biotechnology industry.
• Strong project prioritization, leadership, planning, organization, and delegation skills.
• Ability to influence decisions affecting technology, processes, and products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating technical findings, risks, and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams.
• Typically, 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6+ years with a master's degree, or a PhD with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
