Process Development Senior Principal Scientist Bioconjugates (Biotechnology)

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; the role is located at the Thousand Oaks campus.

Salary: $157,737.05–$213,408.95 annually.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams developing sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing processes for bioconjugates and antibody-drug conjugates.
• Drive bioconjugation technology innovation across clinical development stages.
• Support cGMP manufacturing and technology transfer to GMP production facilities and contract manufacturing organizations.
• Develop process understanding, modeling, and characterization strategies to ensure process performance.
• Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, regulatory documents, and regulatory filing support.
• Serve as a technical expert while coaching and mentoring scientific and technical colleagues.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with 3 years of scientific experience; or a master’s degree with 6 years of scientific experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of scientific experience.
• Doctoral degree and 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in bioconjugate process development, preferably antibody-drug conjugates.
• Expertise in HPAPI linker-payload synthesis and GMP manufacturing and technology transfer.
• Experience representing a function on CMC or process development and technology teams.
• Ability to work in dynamic, interdisciplinary environments and provide people-centered leadership.
• Demonstrated record of publications, patents, and presentations.
