Patient Access & Pre-Access Supervisor (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: On-site at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $47,400–$59,250 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate patient registration and pre-registration activities, ensuring daily completion and effective staff coverage.
• Monitor department performance metrics including point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, productivity, and upfront collection goals.
• Assign staff schedules, manage rotations and call-offs, and balance productivity with overtime control.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and develop Patient Access staff while conducting audits and corrective actions when needed.
• Support process and procedure improvements, assigned projects, reporting, facility activities, and department meetings.
• Participate in an on-call rotation covering days, nights, and weekends, providing guidance and operational support during staffing issues or unexpected volumes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certifications.
• Preferred: 2–3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
• Ability to lead and direct others, strong analytical ability, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work on-site in Miami, Florida and reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
