Electrical Engineer I (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite work in a U.S. office.

Base salary: $82,400–$103,000 per year. Total compensation including equity: $89,350–$115,025 per year.

What you will do

• Develop PCBA requirements with engineers from other disciplines.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Perform power, tolerance, and reliability circuit analyses.
• Conduct PCBA design verification and system integration testing.
• Support production manufacturing as needed.
• Participate across the electrical hardware lifecycle, from requirements definition through design, prototyping, fabrication, testing, and production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or another engineering discipline.
• Strong background in analog electronics design.
• Proficiency with circuit analysis using SPICE and Excel.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• U.S. office roles are subject to ITAR access requirements; eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected persons, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Experience with electronic lab equipment, space environments, radiation mitigation, or high-reliability aerospace applications.
• Experience designing rigid-flex PCBs and familiarity with electromechanical design.
• FPGA design and embedded software development for ARM processors.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
