Finance/Pricing Analyst (Payments)

What you will do

• Consult on and contribute to moderately complex finance initiatives and deliverables.
• Review finance challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable financial and operational factors.
• Analyze data and make recommendations based on financial, operational, and business insights.
• Support pricing, revenue analysis, profitability assessment, and related reporting activities.
• Contribute to issue resolution while applying finance policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client finance personnel and cross-functional partners across Sales, Relationship Management, Product, Operations, and Risk.

Requirements

• 4+ years of finance experience or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
• Experience analyzing data and making recommendations from financial, operational, or business insights.
• Exposure to pricing, financial analysis, revenue analysis, or profitability assessment.
• Basic understanding of merchant pricing concepts, including interchange, assessments, processing fees, and related cost structures.
• Experience with pricing, reporting, or business intelligence tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel skills and previous experience in merchant services pricing or strategy.
• Understanding of payment network regulations and industry practices.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort handling calls with internal and external customers.
