Middleware Platform Administrator (Kafka)

What you will do

• Administer and operate middleware platforms supporting application integration, messaging, and business process automation.
• Manage application and web servers to maintain stable, secure, and highly available operations.
• Support messaging, streaming, and integration platforms to ensure reliable data flow across systems.
• Monitor middleware components, troubleshoot incidents, and perform performance analysis in production environments under defined SLAs.
• Execute deployments, configuration changes, patches, and upgrades according to ITIL practices while maintaining technical documentation and audit support.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience administering and supporting enterprise middleware platforms in production.
• Hands-on experience with WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server or Liberty, Tomcat, IIS, Apache, Nginx, or equivalent application and web servers.
• Experience with IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS, and Confluent Kafka, including Connectors and Control Center.
• Experience with BPM and process automation platforms such as TIBCO BPM, iProcess, BusinessWorks, Pega, Red Hat PAM, jBPM, or IBM BAMOE.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, high-availability environments, SLAs, deployments, patches, upgrades, and ITIL practices.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.

Nice to have

• Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka, IBM Certified Solution Implementer for WebSphere MQ, or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical enterprise environments.
