TL;DR
Senior Director - Workplace Planning & Advice (Financial Services): Leading end-to-end advice delivery and participant engagement across Workplace Planning & Advice teams with an accent on asset retention, managed account adoption, regulatory supervision, and talent development. Focus on scaling advice operations, integrating technology with Product and Wealth teams, building consistent KPIs and coaching frameworks, and improving participant outcomes across a multi-level organization.

Location: Remote, but must reside within the territory; primary location is Denver, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base salary: $144,900–$210,075 per year, with potential bonus participation.

What you will do

  • Lead strategy and execution across Workplace Planning & Advice teams through multiple Senior Managers.
  • Drive asset retention, managed account adoption, Wealth referrals, participant engagement, and other enterprise metrics.
  • Own lifecycle development from onboarding through advanced planning and high-net-worth transitions.
  • Set KPIs, advice quality standards, coaching frameworks, audit practices, licensing standards, and regulatory supervision.
  • Develop campaign, performance management, and technology integration strategies with Product, WPA Experience, Marketing, and Wealth teams.
  • Represent Workplace Planning & Advice in enterprise planning, client discussions, and leadership forums while developing managers and succession pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, plus FINRA fingerprinting.
  • 7+ years of experience in retirement services, advice leadership, or participant strategy.
  • 3+ years leading multi-team, multi-function environments with accountability for people, performance, and revenue.
  • Experience with campaign management, advice platform integration, or advisory services development.
  • Strong analytical, executive communication, people leadership, regulatory supervision, and cross-functional execution skills.

Nice to have

  • MBA or master’s degree.
  • CRPC or CFP certification.
  • Experience developing leadership pipelines and high-performing teams in complex financial services organizations.
  • Experience scaling financial advice through technology, process optimization, or participant engagement strategies.
