Production Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate plant manufacturing operations or multiple department operations.
• Develop production schedules, business plans, and inventory forecasts.
• Staff operations, supervise employees and leads, and coach and develop subordinates.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, expenses, output, yields, and scrap, taking corrective action when needed.
• Analyze workflows and recommend improvements while overseeing inventory, equipment maintenance, supplies, packaging, and reporting.
• Ensure operations follow company standards, OSHA policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of UFP's organization, culture, and product lines is preferred.
