1st Shift Materials - Material Handler (Manufacturing)

Location: Byesville, Ohio, US; onsite. Applicants may work in or relocate to Byesville, but relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $19.55–$27.59 per hour, plus potential quarterly gainsharing bonus and additional shift differential for off-shifts.

What you will do

• Stock and pick engine components and parts for remanufacturing and engine assembly.
• Fulfill parts carts for S60, MBE, MDEG, OCM, and HDEP engine builds.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, hand trucks, pickers, hand tools, and small power tools.
• Use Navision, computers, tablets, printers, and scanners for parts movement, research, and data entry.
• Identify component parts and part numbers, follow work station instructions, and complete rotation training.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and continuous improvement standards.

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive hand manipulation, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing on concrete for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with hoist assistance available.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete documentation and work station instructions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, cross-train, and work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to maintain a clean work area, meet quality standards, and follow standardized work procedures.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship and existing visa holders are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Previous manufacturing experience, especially in automotive or trucking.
• Previous mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED; further college education is a plus.
