What you will do

• Receive, unload, inspect, stage, and store materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Pack and ship printed products and customer samples through freight, LTL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and similar carriers.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping records, labels, weight and freight charges, and other required documentation.
• Operate forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment to load trucks and move materials.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with customers, suppliers, customer service, production, and management.
• Maintain safety, quality, security, documentation, and organization standards across the shipping and receiving area.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of administrative or operational support experience in shipping or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to use materials tracking, storage and retrieval, inventory control, reporting, spreadsheet, and database systems.
• Basic computer and software knowledge with adequate oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate work and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 50 pounds, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Military experience related to air transportation, logistics support, packaging, transportation management, or storekeeping.
