Senior Director, Global AI Fluency (AI)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America; hybrid role with up to 20% domestic and international travel

Salary: $196,000–$342,700 USD base pay

What you will do

• Define and lead the global AI fluency strategy, multi-year roadmap, capability framework, proficiency standards, and governance model for the Global Commercial Strategy Organization.
• Design and scale role-based learning journeys, certifications, academies, leadership programs, communities of practice, and adoption infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of generative AI, agentic AI, digital productivity tools, and human-AI collaboration across commercial, medical, market access, and related functions.
• Partner with business leaders to identify priority workflows, remove adoption barriers, manage change, and embed AI into everyday work.
• Establish measurement, executive reporting, investment prioritization, resource allocation, vendor engagement, and ROI tracking for the AI fluency portfolio.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Learning and Development, Technology, Legal, Privacy, Healthcare Compliance, Information Security, enterprise AI governance, regional teams, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in business, organizational psychology, learning sciences, data science, artificial intelligence, technology management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience leading global, enterprise-scale transformation, digital or AI adoption, capability building, and change management in complex, regulated, matrixed environments.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, agentic AI, digital productivity tools, enterprise adoption models, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience developing global capability frameworks, learning strategies, change plans, governance models, adoption measurements, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Demonstrated executive influence, facilitation, communication, analytical, program management, portfolio prioritization, and budget stewardship skills.
• Ability to lead across functions, regions, cultures, and time zones while balancing global consistency with local relevance and compliant AI use.
