Associate Analytical Chemist - 2nd Shift - On Site Madison, WI (Food Chemistry)

Location: On site in Madison, WI, USA. Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.

hirify.global Food Chemistry Madison operates an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory specializing in food chemistry testing for infant formula, nutritional products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and botanicals.

What you will do

• Learn to perform routine analyses independently in accordance with approved methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Apply GMP and GLP principles across assigned laboratory responsibilities.
• Use laboratory equipment and software, including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies.
• Maintain accurate study documentation, laboratory records, and data reviews.
• Plan daily workloads, coordinate assignments with team members, and participate in project meetings.
• Contribute to a collaborative laboratory environment and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; laboratory experience may substitute for the degree.
• Relevant laboratory experience, strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, and follow instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or current/future sponsorship is required.
• Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials, food allergens, PPE, and extended periods of standing or sitting in a laboratory setting.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work as required.
