QC Analytical Scientist Group Leader (Pharmaceuticals)

What you will do

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics.
• Independently operate RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, UV spectroscopy, and related laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare standards and samples, perform equipment maintenance, and provide laboratory support.
• Support scientists with experiments according to company protocols, methods, and procedures.
• Lead the team, schedule work, train employees, ensure coverage, and monitor performance.
• Balance hands-on technical laboratory work with administrative, quality, safety, and team development responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience.
• 2–6 years of bioanalytical testing experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Knowledge of cGMP, LIMS, GLP, electronic laboratory documentation, and laboratory safety practices.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with iCE, CEX, or similar separation methods.
• Knowledge of compendial assays.
• Laboratory supervisory experience.
