Associate Analytical Chemist (Food Chemistry)

Location: Onsite in Madison, WI, USA; candidates must reside within commuting distance.

Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison operates an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory specializing in food chemistry testing for infant formula, nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, botanicals, vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides, and shelf-life studies.

What you will do

• Conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Apply GMP and GLP practices across assigned laboratory activities.
• Use laboratory equipment and software, including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and laboratory records, and learn to perform peer review of data.
• Plan daily workloads, schedule multiple assignments, and coordinate activities with project team members.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to a collaborative laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; laboratory experience may substitute for the degree.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, learn new techniques, multitask, maintain accurate records, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work onsite within commuting distance of Madison, WI, including occasional overtime and weekend work.
• Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials, food allergens, laboratory hoods, PPE, and extended periods of standing or sitting.
