Yard Manager (Construction)

Location: St. Cloud, Minnesota, United States; warehouse-based role with outdoor and jobsite duties

Salary: $63,232–$87,552 per year

What you will do

• Load and unload trucks and trailers, receive deliveries, pick products, prepare shipments, and handle scrap and waste materials.
• Supply electrical materials, tools, and equipment to jobsites using a company vehicle.
• Check in, clean, track, and maintain tools, vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and outdoor construction equipment.
• Schedule and manage DOT fleet inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist field employees with ordering, managing, and returning electrical equipment and materials.
• Oversee material handlers and youth apprentices assigned to the shop.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license and DOT health card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years of experience working with heavy equipment and/or fleet vehicles.
• Ability to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to work in a warehouse exposed to weather, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime when needed.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, communication skills, and basic inspection, math, and reading skills.

Nice to have

• At least two years of warehouse experience in the construction industry.
• Forklift operator certification.
