Material Handler I (Weld/Fab)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Pay: $22.50–$23.75 per hour

What you will do

• Unload, move, store, and deliver materials, parts, and products between manufacturing cells and departments.
• Check quantities, part numbers, Bills of Material, shortages, and damaged materials.
• Fill orders, load outgoing trucks, stack pallets, and operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Release and maintain Kanbans, report late orders, and complete inventory transactions in the business system.
• Perform cycle counts, inspect work, and complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while supporting and training team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• 0–1 years of manufacturing experience preferred; previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks and other manual material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material and use basic to intermediate computer systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in support of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including frequent lifting, bending, squatting, walking, and standing; lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
