Senior Analyst (AI)

Location: Washington, DC; in-office requirement of 4 days per week

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus benefits and potential discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Build and maintain business-critical Global Private Equity applications from design through deployment and ongoing support.
• Develop full-stack functionality with Python, React, and Next.js, including APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Connect Snowflake, third-party market and portfolio data, and internal systems.
• Build applied-AI capabilities including LLM-assisted workflows, intelligent automation, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, and agentic components.
• Work with Deal Teams, Fund Management, data teams, platform teams, and engineering stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable automation outcomes.
• Support adoption through prototyping, demos, documentation, user enablement, monitoring, and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative concentration preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience and professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on Python application development experience required.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, APIs, and data pipeline development.
• Ability to work directly with business users and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Washington, DC office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• React or Next.js frontend development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with agentic harnesses, document intelligence, OCR, layout parsing, or LLM-based extraction.
• Background in alternative asset management, private equity, financial services, or startups.
