R&D Strategy Consultant

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices for most of the week. Client-facing travel is required as needed.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define project scope and approaches with project leadership.
• Lead task execution, organize project data, and coordinate team meetings.
• Analyze client issues, develop hypotheses, and design qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• Provide thought leadership, contribute to business development and internal firm activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while supporting multiple projects.

Requirements

• MBA with a bachelor's or graduate degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field; alternatively, a relevant PhD or 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Up to 3 years of post-MBA relevant experience and 3–5 years of pre-MBA experience.
• Strong strategy and consulting experience, including experience at Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, or a similar firm.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required.
