Supervisor, Technology Risk - IT Audit (IT Audit)

Location: Toronto, Canada; ability to travel primarily within the region is required.

Salary: $75,000–$129,600 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Consult with client leadership on the design, enhancement, and optimization of technology and business process controls.
• Develop internal control documentation, including process narratives, process flows, and data flows.
• Support financial statement audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance engagements by evaluating IT general and application controls.
• Assess security policies, procedures, and control environments across applications, operating systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess risk exposure and business impact, and develop remediation recommendations.
• Manage engagement teams, coach team members, communicate findings to stakeholders, and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in business process controls, IT risk management, internal audit, IT security, or IT compliance.
• Strong understanding of information technology controls and security.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information to audiences with different levels of technical expertise, including senior leadership.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada, and able to travel primarily within the region.

Nice to have

• Experience leading engagements, managing staff, project financials, and delivery within agreed budgets.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or similar financial applications.
• Knowledge of FFIEC, SOX, COSO, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, or GLBA frameworks.
• CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP certification.
