.NET Cloud Architect

Location: Richmond, VA, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: USD 140,000–200,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and define architectural standards and technical direction.
• Lead development teams and collaborate with project managers, analysts, designers, subject matter experts, and client stakeholders.
• Design, implement, integrate, and support cloud solutions and phased software architectures.
• Provide hands-on technical direction, conduct code reviews, and resolve technical issues.
• Document technology strategies, assessments, designs, estimates, and work plans.
• Support business development by demonstrating technical capabilities and shaping client solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience across a broad range of tools and technologies.
• Cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with IaaS, serverless, containers, PaaS, storage, infrastructure as code, and identity and access management.
• Ability to lead multiple technical project teams, build consensus, and connect architecture decisions to business needs.
• Must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship; hirify.global does not sponsor or transfer work visas for this position.

Nice to have

• Cloud architecture certifications.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, continuous integration, test-driven development, and SDLC methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, XP, Waterfall, and SAFe.
