Clinical Technology Specialist (Medtech)

Location: Syracuse, NY, USA; recurring travel to healthcare facilities and occasional overnight travel required

Salary: USD 55,000–60,000 yearly

What you will do

• Set up and operate surgical technologies before and during procedures.
• Provide technical equipment guidance to surgeons and clinical staff.
• Complete preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibration, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to healthcare facilities; drive daily and travel overnight occasionally.
• Apply laser and workplace safety procedures while delivering responsive customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations required.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, evening cases, occasional weekends, and overnight travel.
• Must meet assigned medical facilities’ credentialing requirements, including required immunizations, health screenings, background checks, and drug screens where applicable.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency, strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to handle medical equipment weighing over 50 pounds and remain physically active for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience.
• Experience with long workdays, unpredictable schedules, or early mornings.
