Medical Equipment Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: San Diego District, San Diego, California, United States. Onsite medical equipment service with periodic travel, flexible scheduling, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed for 24/7 support.

Salary: $25.30–$35.70 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair company- and customer-owned medical devices.
• Service medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, and other healthcare devices.
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete service documentation, paperwork, and computer data entry accurately and promptly.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills and an understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and perform extended periods of bending, climbing, kneeling, standing, and walking.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
