Project Manager – Internship (AI)

What you will do

• Support Operations projects and business and IT initiatives focused on growth, operational optimization, and system implementations.
• Coordinate parallel workstreams involving cross-functional IT and business resources.
• Track project status, deliverables, resource demand, allocations, scope, cost, and schedules.
• Support Agile and iterative delivery, gated planning, stage-gate activities, and roadmap maintenance.
• Prepare materials for Portfolio Approval Committee and Project Steering Group meetings, including epics, milestones, and governance documentation.
• Explore and pilot AI-powered tools for project tracking, status reporting, and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall 2027.
• Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Foundational understanding of, or strong interest in learning, project management and SDLC processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Interest in cross-functional Agile environments, large system implementations, or the insurance and financial services industry.
• Curiosity about or hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.

Nice to have

• Prior coursework, internship, or extracurricular project experience.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Atlassian Jira, or similar tools.
