Supervisor, Manufacturing - Filling (Nights) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, USA; onsite manufacturing role with night-shift responsibilities and presence across multiple shifts

Salary: $75,000–$112,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead aseptic filling operations and process execution in accordance with the Process Execution Team operating strategy.
• Direct production personnel, coordinate support staff, schedule activities, and maintain efficient use of equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA and international regulations, SOPs, documentation standards, and EHS requirements.
• Manage training, performance development, employee relations, and career development for direct reports.
• Generate and approve deviation investigations, respond to product defect notifications, and implement corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on process optimization, equipment qualification, technology improvements, and lean initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a production environment and previous leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of technical documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Ability to work in a changing and demanding manufacturing environment and maintain gown qualification standards.
• Work authorization sponsorship, including visa support, is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, pharmacy, a related science, or business.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation, filling, packaging, validation, technology transfer, or change control.
• Working knowledge of LDMS, Veeva, Microsoft applications, and SAP, especially production orders, inventory movements, and confirmations.
• Experience with aseptic filling, mechanical troubleshooting, project management, and cross-functional team leadership.
