Service Controls Technician (HVAC/Controls)

Location: Pensacola, Florida, United States; field-based work at customer locations

Salary: $16.64–$49.92 per hour

What you will do

• Start and commission new environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC and direct digital control systems using electronics, airflow, refrigeration, control, and mechanical knowledge.
• Serve as the direct customer contact during assigned service projects and resolve equipment issues on-site.
• Coordinate requirements, materials, scheduling, installations, and repairs with customers and team leaders.
• Maintain knowledge of product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair procedures.
• Enforce safety standards, track company assets, and support overtime or occasional overnight assignments as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5 years of HVAC or controls experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA certification and previous DDC controls experience are preferred.
