Part-Time Service Technician (HVAC/R)

Location: Augusta, Maine, USA. On-site work requiring one four-hour shift per week between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Salary: $25–30 per hour

Industrial refrigeration and process-cooling provider delivering engineered systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂ across food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure markets.

What you will do

• Perform weekly refrigeration inspections for industrial food, beverage, and refrigerated-storage accounts.
• Provide basic maintenance support for refrigeration equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP.
• Visually inspect plant refrigeration equipment and report findings to customers and the service manager.
• Follow workplace safety policies, procedures, governing requirements, and required PPE standards.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the service manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical schooling is preferred.
• Industrial HVAC experience of one year or more is preferred but not required; training may be available.
• Universal EPA certification is preferred.
• Ability to climb 40-foot extension ladders, work on various ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods and work in temperatures above 100°F or below 10°F.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and driving-record checks; tobacco products are prohibited during the workday at job sites.
