Focus on building regional KOL relationships, delivering scientific presentations, analyzing conference data, and sharing oncology market intelligence across Southern Ohio.

Location: Remote, Southern Ohio, United States; candidates should reside near Columbus, Dayton, or Cincinnati. Field travel of up to 50% is required.

What you will do

  • Support commercial teams as a regional scientific expert on oncology assays and genomic technologies.
  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with oncology key opinion leaders, physicians, medical directors, and other healthcare providers.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual presentations on clinical data, oncology products, and genomic testing.
  • Educate internal stakeholders in collaboration with Learning & Development.
  • Attend conferences, summarize important abstracts and presentations, and share relevant medical knowledge and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSN.
  • Understanding of molecular oncology, cancer biology, patient management algorithms, and genomic laboratory-developed testing.
  • Existing oncology KOL relationships and strong public-speaking, interpersonal, education, and training skills.
  • Knowledge of CLIA-88, CAP, and the Sunshine Act.
  • Ability to work independently, deliver on tight timelines, and travel up to 50%.
  • Basic oncology understanding is required; molecular testing knowledge is preferred. At least one year of MSL experience in diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
