Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with three days per week in the office, including mandatory Mondays

What you will do

• Build, launch, monitor, and support products in a "build it and run it" agile environment.
• Develop seamless customer and agent experiences for the Sales Customer Care domain.
• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Care squads, and engineering stakeholders to identify and deliver improvements.
• Modernize a monolithic platform into a distributed, service-oriented architecture.
• Design efficient, loosely coupled services and contribute to service ownership, data management, SLAs, and release practices.
• Facilitate discussions, improve architecture, explore impactful technologies, and contribute to chaos mitigation and delivery prioritization.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong ownership and versatility across the technical stack.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code.
• Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, system design, or comparable high-impact engineering challenges.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills.
• English is required for collaboration with an international team across the US, France, Spain, and Japan.
• Relevant technologies include Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Golang, Vue.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, BigQuery, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Datadog, ArgoCD, CircleCI, and GitHub.
