What you will do

• Develop and implement new features for customer and campsite-facing websites using Python.
• Collaborate with product owners to scope and deliver backend functionality.
• Drive the decomposition of the existing monolith into a modern, event-driven architecture.
• Improve development practices and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Work within an Agile team to maintain and scale high-traffic services.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a Backend developer, ideally in a scaling business.
• Proficiency in Python and strong understanding of software architecture.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in an Agile development team.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the OTA (Online Travel Agency) sector.
• Experience with continuous delivery and feature flags.
• Understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience with both internal and third-party APIs.
• Degree in a related discipline.
