What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Python Flask API applications with low-latency responses.
- Develop batch and streaming data ingestion solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement reliable REST API endpoints on Kubernetes with API Gateway technologies such as KONG.
- Build applications supporting analytics, machine learning, fraud recommendations, and business insights.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and product managers on requirements, planning, and code reviews.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot incidents, and improve data quality, observability, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience developing software and data applications at scale.
- Experience with Python, Flask or similar programming languages, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases such as Redis.
- Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes deployments using ArgoCD.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented code and test cases.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and translate business questions into engineering tasks.
