Manager, Business Process Optimization (AI)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska, United States; hybrid work with in-office presence required part of the week

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Assess operational workflows through data analysis, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and observation to identify inefficiencies, service gaps, and root causes.
• Develop and prioritize improvement initiatives with recommendations, success metrics, and projected impact on efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
• Present actionable insights to leadership and address customer experience challenges such as onboarding friction, service delays, and accuracy issues.
• Design scalable operational solutions that increase capacity and efficiency without proportional growth in manual effort or headcount.
• Deliver automation, AI-enabled workflows, system enhancements, and integrations in partnership with Product, Engineering, IT, and Operations.
• Establish operational standards, playbooks, documentation, business cases, and progress reporting for strategic integration initiatives.

Requirements

• Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in operational improvement, technology-enabled process design, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience translating business or operational challenges into scalable solutions with measurable results.
• Experience with automation tools, AI/ML capabilities, system integrations, or data-driven workflow improvements.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, stakeholder management, and operational performance improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in K–12 education technology, tuition management, financial aid administration, student information systems, or regulated service environments.
• Background in software development, systems implementation, workflow automation, or technical product collaboration.
• Knowledge of school administration platforms, enrollment systems, billing workflows, payment processing, enterprise integrations, API-based workflows, and data movement across systems.
• Advanced degree.
