Senior Enterprise Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD per year, depending on experience, location, business needs, and market demand.

What you will do

• Design and build endpoint security platforms and secure-by-default device baselines for a global device fleet.
• Define security strategy, conduct threat modeling, lead architecture decisions, and advance zero-trust device security.
• Develop production-grade security automation with Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code workflows, and GitOps-based policy deployment and drift detection.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and develop detection pipelines for endpoint compromise, data exfiltration, and policy violations.
• Mentor early-career engineers through design reviews, code feedback, and technical coaching.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in security engineering, threat detection, incident response, endpoint protection, or a related information security area.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python, Go, or similar systems or software engineering languages, with experience writing production-grade automation.
• Knowledge of endpoint and mobile security across macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows, including EDR, DLP, MDM/MCM, encryption, attestation, and zero-trust device trust.
• Experience operating enterprise security tools such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, FleetDM, CrowdStrike Falcon, or Okta Verify in multi-OS environments.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef, including CI/CD for configuration and policy deployment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience building threat detection pipelines, conducting threat modeling, or leading incident response investigations.
• Strong Bash or PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and enterprise SaaS platforms at scale.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Security+, or CCSP, or contributions to open-source security projects.
